Description
ID Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Payroll and Accounts Assistant for a Construction Company based in Co. Mayo.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Verifying invoices/goods received, reporting shortages, and chasing credit notes
- Process all returns and payments, ensuring all revenue requirements are met and on-time
- Bank reconciliation and postings
- Processing payroll
- Answering payroll related queries
- Bring books to the trial balance stage
- Maintaining accurate records throughout
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Key Requirements:
- Suitable for part-qualified/or strong experience
- Have at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping
- Be technically strong including use of various systems
- Ability to adapt, multitask and work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
