What You'll Bring:
- Six months minimum experience in catering or bustling kitchen environments.
- Full-time availability, Monday to Sunday.
- Authorization to work in Ireland and successful Garda Vetting.
- Two professional references from the last five years.
- Proficiency in spoken English.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Assist in meal preparation and serving with attention to dietary needs.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Manage food storage, labeling, and rotation to ensure freshness.
- Perform various duties to ensure seamless service to patients and staff.
- Consult with patients or parents about their food preferences and complete menu selection.
- Take food service trays back to ward pantry and dispose of any leftovers according to what the hospital policy dictates.
- Prepare each individual patients’ food according to the specific diet plans specified by the nurse or dietitian.
- Refer to notes to determine if any drinks or beverages are allowed to the individual patients.
