Description

Servisource Recruitment are IMMEDIATELY seeking an Accounts Assistant for their client who is based in Co Dublin.

Contract: 6 months initially
Location: North Dublin (Near St Margarets)
Days/Hours: 40 hour per week
Hourly pay rate: €14.00 per hour

Job Role:
Answer phones and deal with issues or take messages.
Operate the WMS.
Customer order receipt and management.
Manage Purchase Orders and the PO log.
Record key performance information.
Use the Sage accounting package to process supplier invoices, produce customer invoices and formulate the organizations performance.
Use Sage to produce Monthly Accounts.
Carryout Credit Control.
Maintain a cash book to reflect the Kool 4 Bank account.
Carryout constant evaluation of services provided by Oakland, and look to improve.
Propose and implement recommendations for reductions in expenditure/costs.
Ensure that information is accurately recorded and stored.
Complete relevant paperwork as course of office duties.
Follow clean as you go policy so housekeeping is kept to the required standards.
Report any Health and Safety issues to supervisor/manager.
To be able to work overtime as and when required to meet the business needs.
To work at management discretion.

Monitor and control the use of resource in a cost effective manner
Constantly review and improve reporting and systems to ensure individual and team competence is kept at a maximum.

Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with peers and work colleagues both within the department and throughout the company.
Operate to high moral and personal standards.
Maintain personal and staff discipline, attendance and morale.

Information Management
Accurately record and store information
Obtain, evaluate and where applicable develop methods of producing information to aid decision-making.
Lead and contribute to discussions within the Department, Company, Customers and suppliers to solve problems and make decisions.

Skills Required:
Accounting Qualification
Good verbal communication skills.
Good telecommunications skills.
Good keyboard skills.
Confident with maths and written English.
Methodical, conscientious, precise, passionate, self-motivated, able to work under own direction, ability to use own initiative, reactive.
Relentless in the pursuit of information/individuals/organisations required to make the project assessment or implementation.
