Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Servisource, part of the Cpl Group, are now seeking to recruit an Accounts Specialist to join our existing Accounts & Payroll Team to support and work alongside the Finance Lead.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
Duties of the role will include but not limited to;
- Preparing consolidated monthly accounts including supporting analysis and reports for review with Management Team
- Monthly intercompany reconciliation
- Responsible for the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations for all Group related companies
- Preparation and posting of month end journals
- Preparing reports for commercial and operations teams as required to support decision making
- Ensure all month-end deadlines are strictly adhered to
- Support the Finance Lead on company related finance projects and help standardise and automate company processes through identifying process issues and improvement opportunities
- Other ad hoc duties as required by the finance department
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a busy practise/industry environment as a Part Qualified Accountant or Trainee Accountant, in pursuance of the professional accounting qualifications
- UK payroll, taxation experience desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in the English language
- Excellent organisational, planning, attention to detail and time management skills
- Analytical thinker with problem solving initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Full computer literacy including extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
