Education Requirements
Business Development Administrator to fill a permanent position, must have experience in customer service environment. Experience in import & distribution of chemical raw materials and ingredients, with an understanding of dealing with overseas suppliers and customers, as well as logistics providers will be an advantage. Somebody with a technical or business degree or diploma who sees a future career in international business transactions. Someone with good numeracy skills and the ability to understand working capital management. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs is essential, specifically Excel
Experience Requirements
• Experience in a busy administration position. • Experience in a logistics/supply chain or sales environment is an advantage. • Relevant business, supply chain or relevant qualification. • Strong relationship building skills. • IT proficient with intermediate excel abilities. • Genuine interest in sales growth
Job Responsibilities
• Management of customer and supplier relationships, purchase orders, quotations, costings and orders. • Engage with old, existing and new customers to drive sales. • Manage stock levels through accurate data input and weekly reporting. • Ensure customers are adhering to the credit policy and highlight any potential credit risks in a timely manner. • Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders including finance, logistics and group sales teams to ensure the order process runs smoothly.
