About the Role:
As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility's catering services. Your main responsibilities will include food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and providing friendly assistance to patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Details:
Location: Blackrock, United Kingdom
Rate of Pay: €15.06 per hour
Shift Patterns: Two options available
8:00 am to 5:00 pm
9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Working Days: 5 days out of 7, including weekends
Double Pay: Sundays and bank holidays
Garda Vetting: Successful completion of Garda vetting process is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving meals according to dietary requirements and portion sizes
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
• Assisting with stock control, food rotation, and storage
• Providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
• Collaborating with the catering team to ensure smooth operation of services
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a catering role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene
• Provide 5 years of working references
