Description
Job Title: Catering Assistant
Location: Wicklow
Salary: €15.06 per hour (Double on Sundays)
Working Hours: 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
About the Company:
Three Q is a leading healthcare recruitment agency that specializes in providing staffing solutions to hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities across Ireland. We are currently seeking a Catering Assistant to work in the main kitchen and daycare unit of a 90-bed care facility in Wicklow.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals for residents.
- Ensuring that all food is prepared in accordance with special dietary requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
- Assisting with stock control and ordering supplies as required.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a catering assistant or similar role.
- Provide 5 years of employment references
- Undertake the garda vetting process
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Experience working with special textured diets preferred.
