Catering Assistant and Kitchen Porter job in Dublin 1, €15.90 per hour
3Q Recruitment is hiring a Catering Assistant / Kitchen Porter in Dublin 1. This dual role offers the opportunity to contribute to both food service and kitchen operations, playing a key part in ensuring high-quality meal preparation and delivery in a healthcare environment.

What We Offer:
- Hourly rate of €15.90, recognising your valuable contribution.
- Daytime shifts (Monday to Friday, between 7 AM – 6 PM), with occasional weekend work based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:As a Catering Assistant, you will:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Deliver meals to patient wards, ensuring patient comfort and assistance where needed.
- Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning food preparation areas and utensils.
- Organize food supplies and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Follow HACCP procedures and healthcare food safety guidelines.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will:
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation and cleaning tasks.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling, maintaining compliance with hygiene standards.
- Assist with food storage, labeling, and stock management.
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed.
What We’re Looking For:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in catering, food service, or kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Legal right to work in Ireland and successful Garda Vetting clearance.
- Two professional references covering the last five years of employment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
