Key Responsibilities
As a Catering Assistant, you will:
- Prepare and serve meals that meet individual patient dietary requirements.
- Deliver food to wards, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Follow HACCP procedures and infection control policies at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and stock management.
- Support waste management and recycling initiatives in line with healthcare regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- 6 months to 1 year of catering experience, preferably in a healthcare or high-volume setting
- Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance
- Five years of work references
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to hygiene and infection control standards
- Flexibility to work weekends and Bank Holidays when required
- A full driving licence is desirable for ease of access to the location
