Description
Join a fast-paced healthcare facility in Wicklow as a Catering Support Staff. This frontline role supports patient nutrition through food prep, service, and hygiene. Ideal for candidates with 6–12 months’ experience in healthcare or a similar kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals and drinks, following dietary guidelines.
- Ensure kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are kept clean and hygienic.
- Deliver meals to wards and assist patients during mealtimes.
- Follow HACCP and infection control procedures.
- Collaborate with catering and ward teams to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements:
- 6–12 months’ experience in a healthcare facility or high-volume kitchen.
- Familiarity with HACCP and food safety standards.
- Legal Right to Work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
- Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
- Flexible, team-focused, and good communicator.
Salary & Benefits:
- €17.35/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
- Day shifts Monday to Friday (7:00 am – 6:30 pm).
- Weekend availability may be required based on rota.
