Job Title: Chef
Location: Dublin 6
Job Type: Temporary – Part time/Ad-hoc
Facility: Hospital
Salary: €18.42 per hour & Double on Sundays
Working Hours: 7 am to 4pm including weekends
Job Summary:
Are you an experienced Chef with a passion for food and a talent for creating delicious, nutritious meals? We're looking for a Chef to join our team at a busy hospital in Dublin 6. In this job, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring that all dietary requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with specific diets and nutritional requirements, using your excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with HACCP guidelines, ensuring the efficient running of the kitchen.
Undertake the garda vetting process and provide five years of employment references.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, working well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Requirements:
Experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment.
Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts
