Cleaning Operative – Healthcare | Dublin West (Dublin 10)

3Q Recruitment is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to support a healthcare facility in Dublin West (Dublin 10). This role plays an important part in maintaining high standards of hygiene, infection control and comfort for patients, residents and visitors.

This is a frontline healthcare support role, suited to candidates with professional cleaning experience who understand the importance of cleanliness and working within regulated environments.

The role will also include occasional light Catering Assistant duties, supporting the overall day-to-day operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain clinical and communal areas to a high standard

  • Prepare rooms for new residents, ensuring they are clean and ready for use

  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces in line with infection control procedures

  • Dispose of waste safely and in line with site policies

  • Follow daily cleaning schedules and respond to ad-hoc requests

  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages

  • Provide light catering support when required

  • Work as part of a team to maintain a safe healthcare environment

Requirements

  • 6–12 months’ experience in a professional cleaning role

  • Experience in healthcare, residential or regulated environments (advantageous)

  • Good understanding of health & safety and infection control practices

  • Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Flexibility to work Monday to Sunday, including weekends and Bank Holidays

  • Legal right to work in Ireland and ability to complete Garda Vetting

  • Good time management skills

Pay & Benefits

  • €17.53 per hour

  • Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays

  • 27 hours per week, across 3 days

  • Daytime shifts only (typically 8:00am–6:00pm)
