JWR Employment Specialists are delighted to be working with a growing international manufacturing company located in Bodenheim, Germany to recruit a Customer Service Representative.

The Customer Service Representative is part of a growing team in a global organization whose focus is to enter, track, and follow-up on customer orders. The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling detailed customer inquiries to ensure the company are exceeding the client’s expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Process customer inquiries by e-mail, telephone and customer portals
  • Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information requested by the customer
  • Provide customer service in Germany and other European countries.
  • Prepare Quotations, process orders, invoice, bill and dispatch
  • Book goods into our warehouse
  • Communicate with freight forwarders and couriers
  • Maintain customer master data
  • Facilitate the optimization of customer service processes
  • Translation into English, French and Italian
  • Monitor orders, delivery dates and incoming payments
  • Check required documents for correctness
  • Archive documents in our ERP system and ECM system
  • Compile data and prepares various reports for management
  • Assist in general office work

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role in Germany.
  • Must have a third level qualification in Business or other related degree from an accredited third level institution.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office based applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential.
  • Have professional oral and written communication in both the German and English language.
  • Works independently with minimal work supervision
  • Must have good organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
