Description

At MyHomecare we are currently hiring for homecare/healthcare professionals for flexible roles with great packages.

We are recruiting Homecare Assistants to join our expanding base in Ballyconnell, Cavan.

We currently require a HCA for 5-8 hours a day working with a young male child with disabilities, with support from nurse.

REQUIREMENTS

Full Driving License

· QQI Level 5 Modules: Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.

· If you have no qualifications but have 120 hours of work experience completed, we provide full training and support through our Care Academy.

· Willingness to undergo Garda vetting – provided through MyHomecare.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in the English language—written and verbal.

· Valid Visa with the right to work in Ireland (if applicable)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting with all aspects of daily living.
  • Deliver a high standard of personal care to clients when needed.
  • Encourage clients to achieve or maximise independence.
  • Potential light housework/meal prep.
  • Meeting each client's needs in a safe and organised environment.
  • Develop and establish positive professional relationships with clients.
