Key Roles

The ideal candidate for this position is a highly reliable and focused individual who is looking to join a dynamic and high performing customer-centric team. You will interact with customers regarding their insurance needs, delivering a world class level of service.

This role is based on a 35 hour working week, with shifts between 9am-7pm, Monday-Friday.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Handling a high volume of enquiries from customers through inbound telephone activity, email and web chat
  • Responding to all customer service requirements to agreed service levels, procedures and guidelines
  • Providing relevant and accurate details to customers through an in-depth knowledge of the business, and the services it provides
  • To meet and exceed your assigned individual and team targets
  • To aim to resolve all queries on a first call resolution basis
  • Always act in a compliant and secure manner in accordance with policy and procedures
  • Demonstrate a united approach to achieving goals and working as part of a successful team
  • Is committed to future personal development and growth

Qualifications/Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to provide customers with the best service possible
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to deal with problems and solve them effectively and efficiently
  • Understanding the importance of strong adherence to data protection and confidentiality laws
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to empathise with customers and deal with sometimes sensitive cases appropriately

Experience

  • Previous telephony experience with ability to assist customers in a confident, professional manner
  • Previous demonstrated Customer Service Experience
  • Must be willing to pursue APA/CIP insurance qualifications
  • Insurance or health Industry knowledge/experience desirable
  • Certified in computer basics to ECDL or equivalent level desirable
