In this role you’ll get to:

  • Day to day management of the Finance Team and financial controls, gaining an excellent understanding of workloads to create efficiencies and standard work, and establishing appropriate KPI reporting measures for the Finance Team.
  • Lead the periodic financial reporting process and annual audits in a timely
  • Ownership of the monthly reporting pack including detailed manufacturing variance analysis and commentary on financial performance and business
  • Partner with site Management Teams to drive and deliver the Annual Plan including rolling updates and
  • Present monthly results to the site Management Teams for review, including analysis on margins, overhead and capital expenditure, and adherence to Plan or forecast.
  • Partner with site Management Teams to implement controls and procedures to ensure effective and efficient management of company assets and working capital resources.
  • Ensuring accurate maintenance of inventory records and put in place suitable inventory controls and product costing strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with taxation obligations and other statutory reporting requirements.
  • Lead external audit, tax & R&D Tax Credit engagements and be point of contact for auditors and advisors, banks and tax authorities.
  • Administration of company Insurance policies and asset schedules.
  • Oversee capital and property lease
  • Treasury management and periodic cash flow
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Support the implementation and development of appropriate financial systems, and maintain accurate control of financial system data and process flows.

To excel you will need:

  • 10 years or more previous relevant experience within a high growth manufacturing
  • Experience of standard costing and manufacturing variance
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA Qualified
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and a high level of computer literacy
