Description
Join a busy facility in Dublin 24 as a Healthcare Catering Chef . This hands-on role supports patient nutrition and well-being through freshly prepared meals. Ideal for experienced chefs with healthcare or high-volume kitchen backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Lead and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
- Monitor meal quality, portion control, and presentation.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and food storage.
- Support menu planning in line with nutritional guidelines.
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance across kitchen areas.
Requirements:
- QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a healthcare or large-scale catering environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP and cook-chill processes.
- Legal Right to Work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
- Full driver’s licence is desirable.
- Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
- Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Flexibility for weekday and weekend shifts as per rota.
Salary & Benefits:
- €20.29/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
- Day shifts (7:00 am – 6:30 pm, Monday to Sunday).
