Description

Join a busy facility in Dublin 6 as a Healthcare Catering Chef . This hands-on role supports patient nutrition and well-being through freshly prepared meals. Ideal for experienced chefs with healthcare or high-volume kitchen backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements.
  • Lead and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
  • Monitor meal quality, portion control, and presentation.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and food storage.
  • Support menu planning in line with nutritional guidelines.
  • Ensure cleanliness and compliance across kitchen areas.

Requirements:

  • QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a healthcare or large-scale catering environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and cook-chill processes.
  • Legal Right to Work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
  • Full driver’s licence is desirable.
  • Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  • Flexibility for weekday and weekend shifts as per rota.

Salary & Benefits:

  • €20.29/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
  • Day shifts (7:00 am – 6:30 pm, Monday to Sunday).
