Healthcare Chef – Dublin 20
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Chef for a busy healthcare facility in Dublin 20. This hands-on, fast-paced role is perfect for chefs with experience working across multiple kitchen stations, including pastry, cold kitchen, prep, and salads. You’ll prepare fresh, high-quality meals that meet the nutritional needs of patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present nutritious meals in line with dietary guidelines
- Work across multiple kitchen stations, including pastry, cold kitchen, prep, and salads
- Lead or support daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality
- Follow all HACCP, food safety, and hygiene protocols
- Oversee stock rotation, food storage, and waste minimisation
- Monitor portion control, food presentation, and allergens
- Collaborate with dietitians and clinical teams on menu planning
- Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant kitchen environment
Requirements:
- QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification
- Experience in healthcare or high-volume catering, with multi-station skills
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook-chill procedures
- Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance
- Ability to provide 5 years of work references
- Flexible to work weekday and weekend shifts
- Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
Salary & Benefits:
- €20.29/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays
- Day shifts only, Monday to Sunday roster
