Human Resource Generalist

Park West Business Park,

Park west, Co Dublin

Permanent Contract, 39 hours

 

Job Purpose

The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR Manager and People & Culture Team in supporting a designated geographic region, in a defined business and assisting with HR activities.

 

Minimum Education & Skills required

  • HR/Business third level qualification (NFQ7), or Diploma Human Resources Management/Business related discipline or equivalent.
  • CIPD certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3-4 years HR Generalist experience gained within a multisite and fast paced environment with a strong foundation in all areas of HR.
  • Knowledge of HR process, polices & procedures, employee legislation and best practices.

 

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively coordinate and support the delivery of HR processes and programmes within a defined business area, e.g. workforce planning, performance management, coaching, talent management, absence management, enhancing the employee lifecycle and in turn, the organisation’s effectiveness.
  • Provide effective management support in developing and maintaining an effective and compliant HR administrative service.
  • Work in alignment with the HR Leadership team in supporting the People & Culture strategies that support the business and ensure a seamless and responsive HR service to the stakeholders. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.

 

Additional requirements

  • Provide effective support to other departments or functions as required, within a timely manner so that we support the overall needs of the business operation and the employees. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Support the People & Culture team in assisting with HR initiatives/projects as required to include colleague wellbeing, diversity and inclusion.
