Description
Our client, based north of County Dublin and established in the Leisure and Hospitality sector, is seeking an IT Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing or leading a team, coupled with the ability to develop strategic IT roadmaps for the future. Previous project management experience is essential. If you are ready to elevate your career to the next level in IT Management, this role offers an exciting opportunity within a company committed to expanding their well-established brand. This on-site position is situated in a busy and fast-paced environment, requiring some weekend and evening work during peak seasons.
Some of the Responsibilities of the Role:
- Management and delegation of IT support for the business and Team
- Implement and review policies and procedures related to Cybersecurity, Data Protection and other requirements for the business.
- Develop, train, lead and manage a small IT team.
- Support other departments on projects to ensure necessary IT requirements are implemented as part of the business.
- Relationship management with vendors and third-Party IT Suppliers
Key skills you will bring to the Role.
- Third Level related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years within an IT role supporting technical needs
- A good people Manager
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical with the ability to identify trends and root causes.
- Ability to backup, test and verify data integrity.
- Certification CompTIA or similar a plus
- Microsoft expertise including NAV.
- Confident and experienced in Backups and Firewalls
- Experienced in VMWare and Active Directory
- EPOS or retail industry experience would be a plus.
- Project Management experience
