Description

Servisource Recruitment are IMMEDIATELY seeking a Manager for their client who is based within the Public Sector in Co Kerry.

Contract: Until 10th June 2022
Location: Initially work from home (subject to change)
Days/Hours: 2 days per week, 15 hour shifts
Hourly pay rate:€37.04 per hour

Job role:
To provide project management support to the team.
Identify key industry and stakeholders to implement the Development Plan.
Ensure that development of all individual cluster/networks are aligned to overall programme plan.
Identify potential visitor focused experiences to leverage growth opportunities and fill product gaps.
Deliver key strategic projects working with internal team to maximise efforts across the departments, delivering projects within budget and timeline and ensuring all objectives are met.
Display initiative and innovation.
Ensure that the Brand Training & Co-brand Workshops are rolled out to key trade and stakeholders
Review and agree Brand Ambassador Program Guidelines and identify key people to become ambassadors and adapt guidelines
Ensure that each business attend the Filte Ireland modular programme
To assist businesses to understand how to drive the commercial capability of their business
Proactively manage the schedule of industry and stakeholder engagements, one to one, cluster and regional meetings
Carry out all other duties as required
This role may require travel, with attendance at a significant number of events

Person Specification
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with highly developed interpersonal skills. They should also be results focused.

Essential Criteria
A minimum of 5 years in a relevant role in tourism or service industry
Demonstrable knowledge of commercial and business acumen, promoting destinations and an interest and passion for delivering innovative solutions to address business needs
Proven ability to collaborate and build strong internal and external relationships and will have significant experience in stakeholder and industry management
Evidence of delivering tangible business results on strategic projects
Understanding of the tourism industry and related institutional networks at local and national level
Full valid driving licence

Qualifications
A professional Qualification (minimum Level 8 under the QQI Framework) in a related discipline is essential
