Mixed Vet Surgeon Sligo

An independent practice located in Sligo Town, Co. Sligo has an opening for a full time vet to join our 3 vet mixed practice. Located in the heart of Yeats Country, Sligo is a vibrant town, the surrounding county has unrivalled scenery, with beaches, mountains and surfing.

Our client's  primarily small animal by caseload (85% ), the remainder is mostly cattle and some sheep. They have 3 veterinary nurses working at the practice. The companion animal part of the practice has VCI accredited Hospital status. Facilities include full Idexx Lab suite, digital x-xay, ultrasound scanner, dental machine and Vetscope clinical records.

The position would be suitable for a new graduate as good support and back up will be given. VCI and VDS paid and an annual allowance towards CPD .

• Rota is equally shared 1 in 3
• 1 day off given in lieu of weekend worked
• 20 days annual leave per annum
• Mileage allowance paid at civil service mileage rates
• Remuneration commensurate with experience
