If you are a motivated and passionate mixed veterinary surgeon looking to join a progressive and experienced mixed animal team, look no further!

Our clients are a well-established, mixed hospital is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their mixed hospital team.

The hospital is 50% small, 30% Large, 20% Equine. They have all the usual equipment that you would expect including digital x-ray, Idexx blood analysis, ultrasound, dental, gaseous anaesthesia, Equine x-ray facilities, large animal surgery, stocks, stables, calf pens.

About the role

They are seeking a full time, permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

The role will involve Medical and Surgical caseload of Large, Small and Equine Clients. TB Testing, Diagnosis, treatment, and Farm Visits.

The full-time position is for 40-50 hours per week over 4.5-5.5 days, with typical shifts between 9am-6:30pm or 8:30am-4pm evenly spread during the week. In addition, you would be expected to work 1 in 4 Saturday mornings during Spring and 1 in 8 during off peak Season (on call OOH) Half Day in lieu of working weekend.

Salary for the role is commensurate with experience level.

Requirements

All applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent qualification and be eligible to register with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.

New graduate welcome, support and training will be provided.
