Description

JWR Employment Specialists are working with a Mechanical and Engineering Company who are specialists in bespoke fabrication to recruit a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Manager. The role will be based in Mayo.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our office and supporting the construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing administrative functions, coordinating office activities, and providing essential support to project management

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, driven individual to undertake a varied and interesting office management role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain organised filing systems for project documentation, contracts, permits, and other relevant paperwork
  • Coordinate team meetings
  • Collaborate with project managers and directors to ensure accurate and timely documentation of project milestones, progress reports, and client communications
  • Work closely with the accounts team, checking over monthly reporting documents including purchasing reports and financial records
  • Assisting with the day-to-day financial transactions, including the preparation of VAT returns and assisting with payroll processing
  • Facilitate effective communication by distributing information to relevant managers/directors.
  • Ensure a clean and organised office environment conducive to productivity and efficiency
  • Oversee and assist accounts in invoicing, billing, and tracking payments
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in office management, preferably within the construction industry
  • Experience working within an accounts team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills
  • Work well under pressure
