Part Qualified/ Qualified Accountant

Servisource Recruitment on behalf of our client are currently seeking an Part Qualified/ Qualified Accountant for their office based in Kingscourt Co Cavan.

This position is a permanent role.

We are currently recruiting a fully qualified accountant who will report directly to the Group CFO.

The ideal candidate will be driven and ambitious, have excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Working hours: 8.30 to 5 Monday to Friday

Location: Kingscourt, Co. Cavan and other group sites as necessary

Requirements:

• ACCA/ACA Qualified Accountant
• Proficient in excel, Sage knowledge an advantage but not essential
• Experience working to tight reporting deadlines
• Experience managing and coordinating staff to meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts to deadline
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Review Debtors/Creditors ledger as part of monthly accounts production
• Analyse and update standard costs, review monthly stocktakes
• Preparation of annual audit file and work closely with auditors
• Ensure all Revenue returns are completed correctly and filed on time.
• Assist with preparation of annual Budgets
• Monitor spend in relation to budgets
• Assist with continuous improvements and implementing new controls in the accounts process
• Assist with regulatory, statutory and internal audits
• Prepare monthly Board Finance Report
