Healthcare Recruitment Consultant

MediWest Care are recruiting for a full time Healthcare Recruitment Coordinator to join their team covering temporary and permanent placements for HSE and private healthcare organisations around Ireland.

This role is for someone who is results driven, motivated has excellent people skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The role will offer a lot of scope for growth within the organisation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include;

  • Leading and managing the recruitment process for placement of temporary and locum Nurses and Healthcare Assistants in the HSE hospitals including advertising, sourcing, screening, compliance and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Advertising and marketing roles across a number of social media platforms, job boards and company website as well as consistently investigating new and best ways to advertise and attract candidates.
  • Creating and maintaining excellent candidate and client relationships.
  • Ensuring all candidate compliance documents are completed to the highest standard as required by the HSE and in line with GDPR and privacy policies.
  • Plan, manage and attend career fairs, recruitment open days, registration days as required by the business in various locations around Ireland.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on candidates process as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements include;

  • Third level qualification in HR, Business Studies, International Business or similar is desired.
  • Minimum two years’ experience working in a recruitment/sales/busy office environment is required.
  • Agency staff scheduling/rostering is desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Be someone who is open minded and keeps up to date with recruitment trends.
  • Be self-motivated and enjoy taking on a challenge.
  • Be willing to travel to various locations around Ireland and manage and hold recruitment open days, careers fairs, interview campaigns etc.
  • Full drivers license with access to vehicle for travel.
