Registered Veterinary Nurse – Mullingar
A vibrant and close-knit team at a small animal practice in the heart of Mullingar is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join them. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN eager to be central to patient care and client education within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The Role:
- Position: Full-time, Permanent
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekend Shifts: 1 in 2 Saturdays (sometimes 1 in 3)
- Out of Hours & On-Call Duties: None
- Salary: €30,000-€35,000 commensurate with experience
- Start Date: April 2025
What the Role Entails:
The successful candidate will assist Veterinary Surgeons in a busy small animal practice. Responsibilities will range from conducting nurse consultations to managing a varied caseload and ensuring top-tier patient care. This role is ideal for an experienced RVN who thrives in a challenging yet rewarding setting, managing diverse cases while prioritizing patient well-being.
Applicant Requirements:
- Required: Applicants must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland to practice veterinary nursing.
- Ideal Candidate: A motivated and confident RVN who is a strong team player, possesses excellent communication skills, and places the highest priority on patient care.
- Applications are also welcomed from new graduates, although some experience is preferred. Candidates with a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners are encouraged to apply.
