Senior or Head Registered Veterinary Nurse

Our client is seeking for a Senior or Head RVN to work in their clinic 15 min from Galway city. This is a full-time position.

They have a wide array of top of the range equipment and services in their practice to continue their well-established standard of care for their patients and clients. These include:

The clinic has a highly skilled veterinary team. They have 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 11 Veterinary Nurses, 3 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. Their vets have a range of experience levels, from new graduates to certificate holders (surgery, medicine, anaesthesia, emergency and critical care).

They strongly encourage professional development and advocate for a supportive learning environment, especially with new graduate Veterinarians looking to take their first steps into the veterinary profession.

The Role

This is a Full-time, permanent position of 36 to 40hours per week, typically over 4-5 days per week.

• Shift patterns include 8-5, 9-6, 9:30 - 6:30.
• Saturdays 1:4 either 9-1 or 9-5.
• No Sundays/Bank Holidays or Out-of-Hours.

The main duties and responsibilities for this position would include ensuring a working nurse roster, clinical nursing, client effacing roles such as nurse clinics and reception management, overseeing clinical standards, organizing nurse meetings and feeding back to the team

Salary for this role is up €40,500 + benefits commensurate with experience.
