Catering Assistant Job in Dublin 24

We are hiring a Catering Assistant in the Dublin 24 area for a full-time role. This job is based in the catering department of a hospital. You will be working in a busy environment, preparing, plating, and serving patient meals on the hospital wards. This is a full-time position and the hours for this catering job are 7:30 am – 6:30 pm. You will be required to work 3-4 days per week, including occasional weekends. The rate of pay for this catering job is €15.06 per hour, with double pay on Sundays and bank holiudays!

Your responsibilities:

• Preparing, plating and serving patient meals 
• Ensuing all HACCP guidelines are followed
• Collection of Cutlery, crockery, and glassware from patient wards
• Cleaning and drying of crockery, glassware, and crockery
• Regular cleaning of the pantry
• Assisting Chefs with any food prep required
• Any other duties as they arise

Requirements to join the Three Q Team:

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen or catering environment is desirable but not a requirement
• Full time, flexible availability
• Undertake the Garda Vetting Process
• 2 working references covering 5 years of employment
• Strong spoken English
• You must be eligible to work in Ireland
• You must hold a valid visa/work permit if required
