Project Lead, Health Information and Standards

Tenure: Fixed Term – HIQA intends to create a panel for future fixed term vacancies that may arise 

HIQA is recruiting a Project Lead, Health Information and Standards for its Health Information and Standards (HIS) Directorate.

HIQA has a role to promote safety and quality in the provision of health and personal social services for the benefit of the health and welfare of the public. HIQA is currently recruiting for a variety of roles within the Health Information and Standards (HIS) Directorate. As vacancies arise, the successful candidates will join one of the following teams:

– Governance, Research and Strategy
– National Care Experience Programme
– Health Information Quality and Assurance
– Health Information Standards
– National Standards for Health and Social Care Services

The Project Lead will work in a team to lead and deliver on key programmes of work. This role will require strong collaboration skills, project management, research and communication skills.

Chief II, Clinical Pharmacist

HIQA intends to create a panel for future permanent and fixed term vacancies that may arise

HIQA is recruiting a Chief II, Clinical Pharmacist for its Health Technology Assessment Directorate.

Since 31 March 2025, HIQA hosts the National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC), Ireland’s National Immunisation Technical Advisory Group (NITAG). The Chief II, Clinical Pharmacist will support the NIAC Special Advisors who lead on the review and update of the Immunisation Guidelines for Ireland in line with NIAC’s programme of work. They will contribute to the co-ordination and co-authoring of these updates as well as assist with advice and responding to immunisation queries from healthcare professionals. They will be part of a multidisciplinary team that produces evidence syntheses on vaccines, immunisation and related health topics to aid decision-making. Working closely with the NIAC Clinical Lead and Special Advisors, the Chief II, Clinical Pharmacist will liaise with subject matter experts and work collaboratively with academic partners and with other national and international bodies involved in immunisation guideline and policy development, and immunisation programme implementation.
