About the Opportunity

The Vet Office is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal clinic located in Douglas, Cork.

This is a fantastic role for a confident and compassionate vet looking to work in a supportive, collaborative environment, where high standards of patient care and client relationships are truly valued. You will be joining a friendly and experienced team in a clinic that combines clinical excellence with a genuine, community-focused approach.

The Role

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding care and contributing to the continued success of the clinic.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality medical and surgical care to small animals
  • Delivering excellent client communication and service
  • Working closely with the team to ensure a positive and efficient clinical environment
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and standards of the practice
  • Supporting daily operations alongside senior team members

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2–3+ years' experience in small animal practice
  • VCI registration (or eligibility to register)
  • Strong interest in medicine and/or dentistry
  • Confident decision-maker with solid clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
