Description
JWR Employment Specialist are working with a growing Property Management company in Galway City to recruit an Accounts Administrator. The role will have the responsibility of managing the accounts for a large portfolio of clients as well as provide administrative support to the Managing Director.
This role is for someone who is motivated, can work on own initiative and has excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities.
Accounting Duties include;
- Accounts Payable - processing invoices, preparation and posting of payments, reconciling supplier accounts and liaising with suppliers in relation to any queries.
- Accounts Receivable - preparing invoices, reconciling customer accounts, issuing statements and liaising with customers on outstanding payments.
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets, income and expenditure.
- Assist with annual external audit and audit queries.
Administrative duties include;
- Provide administrative support to Managing Director including attending Board Meetings and taking minutes.
- Maintain internal databases.
- Prepare, file and retrieve documents such as contracts and proposals.
- Assist with rental viewings and inspections.
- Assist with customer queries.
- Update company website, social media platforms as requested.
Requirements
- Qualified Accounting Technician/Bookeeper
- Minimum two years’ accounts/bookkeeping experience in a busy office environment.
- Experience using Quickbooks is essential.
- Excellent Computer skills in particular MS Office.
- Must have excellent organisational and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
