Registered Nurse

MyHomecare is currently recruiting for the children with complex needs tender which would be working one on one with a child with various needs in their own home in the Sligo area. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working one on one with children in their own home and would also be a compassionate and reliable individual capable of working on their own initiative. We currently have 8 hour night shifts available 7 days per week.

• Monthly rosters are usually completed in advance
€100 offered towards annual INMO registration yearly
• Pull PPE Provided
• Up to €500 refer a friend fee provided - If you refer another candidate and if they are activated for work a fee will be awarded up to €500 depending on the candidate's qualifications, this is given when the recently activated candidate has worked 150 hours for us.
• Sign on bonus after working 100 hours

My Homecare Registered Nurses must have the following;
• In date and current NMBI pin.
• Previous experience working with Children
• Willingness to undergo any training required.
• All nurses are required to undergo Garda Vetting
• Nurses must be Willing to register with the INMO or affiliated union.
• Full immunizations and Vaccination history will need to be provided.

My Homecare Nursing Duties:
• Medication Management
• Seizure management including administration of buccal midazolam if required.
• Nebulizer management
• Pain management
• Care of child with complex needs/disability
• Airway Management
• Suctioning
• Stoma care management
• Moving and handling /hoist and re-positioning.
• Skin integrity management.
• Professional boundaries/ Confidentiality
• Working in the home environment/lone worker
• Infection control and disposal of clinical waste
• CPR
