Description

Catering Assistant – Dublin 8

We are seeking a Catering Assistant in Dublin 8 to join a dedicated hub supporting individuals impacted by homelessness. This is a meaningful frontline role where you’ll contribute to the wellbeing of service users by preparing and serving nutritious meals in a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals and drinks to service users and staff.
  • Assist in the safe and respectful delivery of meals during mealtimes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchens, equipment, and utensils.
  • Adhere to HACCP food safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Support with stock rotation and maintaining kitchen supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with catering and support teams to ensure smooth service.

Requirements:

  • 6–12 months’ experience in catering, kitchen, or similar roles (experience in community or healthcare settings an advantage).
  • Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
  • Legal right to work in Ireland & Garda Vetting clearance.
  • Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
  • Team player with flexibility and good communication skills.
