We are recruiting Catering Assistants to support a busy healthcare facility in Wicklow, helping deliver nutritious meals safely and on time to patients and staff.

This is a vital frontline role within a healthcare catering environment, ideal for candidates with catering or kitchen experience who want daytime work, consistent shifts and the opportunity to progress within healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals and beverages to patients and staff
• Deliver meals to wards and provide respectful assistance during mealtimes
• Maintain high hygiene standards across kitchens, equipment and utensils
• Follow HACCP food safety and infection control procedures at all times
• Stock, label and rotate ward pantry supplies correctly
• Work closely with catering teams and ward staff to ensure smooth service delivery

Requirements:

• 6–12 months’ catering or kitchen experience (healthcare experience an advantage).
• Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
• Legal right to work in Ireland & Garda Vetting clearance.
• Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
• Team player, flexible, good communicator.

Salary & Benefits

• €17.53 per hour
• Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
• Daytime shifts only, typically between 7:00am and 6:30pm
