Catering Assistant – Dublin West | Healthcare Catering Role
  
We are hiring a Catering Assistant to join a busy healthcare facility in Dublin West, supporting the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals to patients and staff. This role plays an essential part in patient comfort and recovery by ensuring meals are prepared, delivered and served safely, efficiently and with care.
  
Working as part of a clinical catering team, you will support daily service, maintain hygiene standards and assist patients during mealtimes to ensure a smooth and positive dining experience.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals and drinks to patients and staff
  • Deliver meals to wards and assist patients during mealtimes
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, trolleys, equipment and utensils
  • Follow HACCP, food safety and infection control procedures
  • Stock ward pantries and rotate food supplies correctly
  • Work closely with catering teams, ward staff and supervisors to ensure efficient service

  
Requirements

  • 6–12 months’ catering or kitchen experience (healthcare experience an advantage)
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Legal right to work in Ireland and ability to complete Garda Vetting
  • Ability to provide five years of verifiable work references
  • Strong communication, reliability and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work day shifts across a weekly roster

  
Salary & Benefits
