Chef Grade 2 – South Dublin
Join a respected HSE healthcare facility in South Dublin in a rewarding roles. We’re hiring a Chef Grade 2 to prepare fresh, nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of patients, staff, and visitors.
Ideal for chefs with experience in healthcare, HSE kitchens, or high-volume catering settings.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day meal preparation and food service
- Follow set dietary guidelines and portion standards
- Assist in maintaining food quality, hygiene, and allergen awareness
- Operate within HACCP and infection control procedures
Requirements:
- QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a healthcare or high-volume catering setting
- Up-to-date knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook-chill processes
- Legal Right to Work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance
- Ability to provide 5 years of work references
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexible for weekday and weekend shifts on a rota basis
Salary & Benefits:
- €20.50 per Hour, Full Time Hours
- Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays
