Catering Assistant – Healthcare | Dublin 4
3Q Recruitment is recruiting a Catering Assistant for a well-established healthcare facility in Dublin 4. This role supports the safe preparation, delivery and service of meals to patients and staff in a clinical setting.
This is a hands-on healthcare catering role where your work directly contributes to patient comfort, recovery and daily care. It is suited to candidates with experience in catering, kitchen or food service roles who are reliable, organised and team focused.
Location & Access
The facility is well served by public transport, with multiple Dublin Bus routes connecting Dublin City Centre and South Dublin. Easily accessible for candidates commuting by bus.
Key Duties

Prepare and serve meals and beverages

Deliver meals to wards and assist patients during mealtimes

Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, trolleys and equipment

Follow HACCP, food safety and infection control procedures
-
Stock ward kitchens and rotate food supplies
-
Support the catering team to ensure smooth daily service

Work closely with healthcare staff and supervisors
Requirements
-
6–12 months’ experience in catering, kitchen or food service roles
-
Healthcare or hospital catering experience an advantage
-
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards

Legal right to work in Ireland

Ability to complete Garda Vetting

Five years of verifiable work references

Reliable, flexible and a strong team player

Good communication skills
Pay & Benefits
