Catering Supervisor – Dublin 24 | Healthcare Catering 
  
3Q Recruitment is recruiting a Catering Supervisor to join a busy healthcare canteen and kitchen operation in Dublin 24.
  
This is a part-time supervisory role (23.5 hours per week), ideal for an experienced Catering Supervisor or Senior Catering Assistant with strong leadership skills and a background in structured catering environments such as healthcare, contract catering or large-scale food service.
  
There is potential for this role to move from temporary to permanent.
  
Role Overview
  

  • Location: Dublin 24
  • Hours: Part-Time (23.5 Hours / 2.5 Days)
  • Shift window: Between 6:30am – 6:30pm
  • Roster: Includes weekends
  • Start: ASAP

  
The Role
  
You will support the day-to-day running of a healthcare canteen and kitchen, supervising staff, maintaining food safety standards and ensuring consistent, high-quality service.
This role suits candidates with experience in contract catering providers such as Compass, Aramark, KSG or similar healthcare and hospitality operations.
  
Key Responsibilities
  

  • Supervise daily canteen and kitchen operations
  • Lead, support and motivate catering staff
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards
  • Monitor food preparation, service flow and presentation
  • Assist with menu coordination, stock control and cost management
  • Maintain accurate records and support audits where required
  • Work closely with site and catering management teams
  • Ensure smooth, efficient service delivery in a healthcare setting

  
Requirements
  

  • Background as a Catering Supervisor or Senior Catering Assistant
  • Hospital or healthcare catering experience strongly preferred
  • Supervisory experience in catering, hospitality or contract catering
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene best practice
  • Legal right to work in Ireland
  • Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.
  • International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16
  • Two recent professional references
  • Fluent English with strong communication and leadership skills
  • Catering or Hospitality qualification desirable (Level 5–7)
