Catering Supervisor – Healthcare & Canteen | Dublin 4

3Q Recruitment is recruiting a Catering Supervisor for a busy healthcare canteen and kitchen operation in Dublin 4. This is a temporary position (3–6 months) offering full-time hours and early shifts within a structured catering environment.

This role is suited to an experienced Catering Supervisor or Senior Catering Assistant with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of food safety and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen and canteen operations

• Lead and support catering staff to maintain service standards

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and hygiene regulations

• Monitor food preparation, service flow and presentation

• Assist with menu planning, stock control and cost management

• Maintain records and support audits and inspections

• Work closely with site management to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements

• Qualification in Catering or Hospitality Management (Level 7 desirable)

• Proven supervisory experience in catering or hospitality

• Healthcare catering experience an advantage

• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene practices

• Legal right to work in Ireland and ability to complete Garda Vetting

• Two recent professional references

• Fluent English with good communication and leadership skills

Pay & Benefits

• From €20.07 per hour (dependent on experience)

• 3–6 month temporary contract

• Full-time hours: 39 hours per week, 5 days over 7

• Early shift pattern supporting work–life balance

• Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
