Title: Ward Catering Assistant
Location: Dublin 8
Salary: €15.06
Hours: 8am - 6pm (2 hour unpaid break from 1pm-3pm)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with nursing staff to adjust patient meal schedules
• Aid in preparing and serving meals to patients promptly and efficiently
• Transport meals to patient wards, considering individual preferences and requirements
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in dining and serving spaces
• Collect and handle used trays and dishes, while assisting with dishwashing and cleaning tasks
• Address any patient inquiries or special requests with professionalism and courtesy
• Participate in arranging and tidying up meal service areas
• Track inventory and replenish supplies as necessary
• Consistently follow HACCP regulations for food safety
• Contribute as a team player, fostering a positive and effective work atmosphere

Requirements:

• Experience in a busy kitchen or catering environment is desirable
• Full-time availability with flexibility
• Completion of the Garda Vetting Process
• Proficient in spoken English
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
