Ward Catering Assistant

3Q Recruitment are searching for a Ward Catering Assistant for a position in Dublin 7. We are looking for the most valuable candidate to prepare, plate and serve meals to patients in a fast paced environment. Please note that candidates are required to have previous ward catering experience.
We have been in operation for 25 years serving the hospitality sector using our top-tier applicants, and now we want you to become a part of this dynamic team!
Details:

• Position: Ward Catering Assistant
• Location: Dublin 7
• Hours: 7am-6pm, Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
• Rate of pay: €15.53 (Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays)

Job Tasks:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to patients according to their dietary requirements and restrictions.
• Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, utensils and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for storing and disposing of food, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient meal service.
• Assisting Chefs with food preparation if required.

What you need to join the team:

• Previous ward catering experience is essential.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland (Visa/Work permit if needed)
• References spanning the past 5 years of employment.
• Full-time, flexible availability.
• Proficiency in spoken English.
