3Q Recruitment is recruiting Catering Assistants to support healthcare kitchens and staff canteens in Tullamore and across the Midlands. These roles help deliver safe, efficient and well-organised food services for healthcare staff and visitors.

This position is suited to candidates with experience in catering, food service or kitchen support roles who are seeking structured daytime work, reliable hours and longer-term opportunities within healthcare catering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, service and presentation

• Support kitchen and staff canteen operations during service periods

• Set up and clear service counters and dining areas

• Maintain hygiene, infection control and food safety standards

• Restock service areas, fridges and counters

• Support catering teams to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in catering, food service or kitchen support roles

• Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety procedures

• Legal right to work in Ireland

• Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.

• International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16

• Ability to provide five years of work history or references

• Reliable, organised and comfortable working in healthcare environments

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay & Benefits

• €17.53 per hour

• Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays

• Daytime and rostered shifts available

• Monday–Sunday roster depending on service requirements
